Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Fez
Upon your arrival, we’ll warmly welcome you at the airport and embark on a journey to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Along the way, we’ll visit the majestic Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca and take in the scenic beauty of the coast. In Rabat, you’ll explore iconic landmarks such as the Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah. Afterwards, we’ll head towards Fes, arriving in the late afternoon. You’ll check in to your riad nestled in the heart of the bustling Medina. Enjoy your overnight stay at Riad Yacout with breakfast included.
Day 2: Exploring Fez
After breakfast at your riad, immerse yourself in the rich history of Morocco’s oldest city. Our exploration begins with a visit to the Royal Palace gate, followed by the Jewish quarter and the Mellah, dating back to the 16th century. You’ll discover cultural treasures such as the renowned Al Qaraouine University, the ancient Tanneries, the Attarine museum, and the Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, we’ll explore the vibrant tiles cooperative and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fez. Later in the afternoon, we’ll venture into the modern city, “La ville nouvelle,” for a refreshing drink. Your overnight stay awaits at Riad Yacout, with breakfast included.
Day 3: Fez – Meknes – Volubilis – Ouazzan – Chefchaouen
Following breakfast at your riad, embark on a journey to Chefchaouen via Meknes and Volubilis. In Meknes, you’ll explore iconic landmarks such as the Bab Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani basin, and the Mausoleum. Next, visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, showcasing stunning mosaics dating back to 25 BC. Finally, continue your journey to Chefchaouen. Spend the night at Riad Assilah, with breakfast included.
Day 4: Exploring Chefchaouen
After enjoying breakfast at your riad, delve into the enchanting Medina of Chefchaouen. With its distinctive white-washed walls adorned with blue doors and windows, Chefchaouen boasts a unique charm. Influenced by Spanish occupation, the city reflects a blend of Moroccan and Spanish architecture. Take the chance to interact with locals and wander through the picturesque streets of the Medina. Retire for the night at Riad Assilah, with breakfast included.
Day 5: Chefchaouen – Casablanca/Tangier
After indulging in a luxurious breakfast at your accommodation, we’ll embark on a scenic drive to Tangier along the coast. Along the way, we’ll make a stop at the fortified city of Assilah, once colonized by the Portuguese. Immerse yourself in its fascinating history and admire the colorful walls, which are repainted every Thursday according to tradition. Assilah exudes a tranquil charm with its small, serene atmosphere and stretches of beaches. After lunch, our journey concludes at Tangier Port, where you can board the ferry to Spain.
